CSG is a business-led, cross-sector alliance of leading companies and professionals working together to strengthen the readiness, security and resilience of critical supply chains.

UK Membership

Membership is for senior supply chain, procurement or commercial representatives of leading companies, and centres on invitations to at least three roundtables or other targeted, high-level engagements a year. These bring members together with peers across critical sectors and wider industry, senior UK Government officials and subject matter experts.

Members shape CSG’s agenda, and findings and recommendations are shared on a non-attributable basis with those involved in UK CNI and essential services, including the UK Government; devolved, regional and local governments; executive agencies; regulators; owners and operators; strategic suppliers; and, Tier 1 contractors.

CSG offers members:

    • A forum to identify and address shared risks and opportunities in critical supply chains.
    • Benchmarking of supply chain and procurement practice with peers.
    • Insight into UK Government and other authorities’ priorities for critical supply chain readiness, security and resilience.
    • Connections through CSG’s collaborator network, for example with industry bodies, SMEs and academia.
    • The opportunity to shape and take part in targeted projects.
    • Access to, and input into, CSG research and analysis, such as the UK Supply Report.
    • The option to engage with policy or other strategic recommendations made by CSG, where aligned with company objectives.

Members and strategic partners include: Babcock; AstraZeneca; BD (Becton Dickinson); Octopus Energy; Chartered institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS); Wilton Park (FCDO executive agency); and, Made in Britain.

“What I value most about the Group is that it brings together different perspectives. No single organisation has all the answers, and that’s exactly why these conversations matter.” — Ben Farrell OBE, Global CEO, Chartered institute of Procurement and Supply
