UK Clean Energy Map
The UK government has launched an interactive Clean Energy Map, providing a real-time view of projects supporting the transition to a low-carbon energy system. Developed as part of the “Clean Energy Superpower” mission, the tool highlights how investment and infrastructure are being deployed across the UK.
The map features projects supported since July 2024, alongside the jobs and investment they generate. This includes developments backed by Great British Energy, the National Wealth Fund, and leasing areas delivered by The Crown Estate, as well as technology-level insights where available.
A key feature of the tool is its ability to demonstrate geographic distribution. Projects are mapped across regions, showing how clean energy investment is contributing to local economies through job creation and supply chain development.
The Clean Energy Map also provides insight into investment levels and project impacts, enabling users to track funding and delivery progress while identifying emerging clusters of activity.
As new projects are announced, the platform will continue to expand, offering a more comprehensive view of the UK’s clean energy pipeline and progress towards net zero.
